HEALTH & SAFETY
Q: What are your health and safety guidelines?
I want your session to feel relaxed and comfortable. If anyone in your household is sick, running a fever, or has been unwell in the 24 hours leading up to our session, please let me know right away so we can reschedule. I will do the same on my end. There are no rescheduling fees for illness, and keeping everyone healthy is always the top priority.
FIT & STYLE
Q: How do I know if your sessions are right for us?
You want to document your family story in a meaningful, natural way. If you love the idea of capturing connection, chaos, and the heart of childhood rather than stiff poses, this experience is for you. Most of my sessions take place at home, where your memories are already being made.
Q: Who might not be the best fit?
If you prefer traditional, posed portraits with everyone smiling at the camera, a studio setting, or styled props (like baskets, crowns, or gowns), I may not be the right photographer for you. There are wonderful photographers who specialize in those styles. I focus on creating honest, story-driven images.
Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?
I bring over 15 years of experience, a degree in advertising photography, and a deep passion for documenting families with authenticity. My work blends styled direction with natural moments to highlight the unique beauty of every family.
Q: Where do sessions take place?
Most sessions happen at home for comfort and storytelling. I also offer a curated location library for families who prefer an outdoor spot. Locations within 15 miles of 90038 are included. New or farther locations may require a production fee.
BOOKING & TIMING
Q: When should we book?
I recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks in advance.
Maternity: 32 to 36 weeks
Newborn: within the first 2 to 4 weeks
Fresh 48: within the first 48 hours at place of birth
Spring and Fall are the busiest seasons in SoCal. If you would like a weekend session or need images in time for holidays, it is best to reserve your spot early.
Q: How do we confirm a date?
Your session is confirmed once your session fee and contract are received.
Q: Will my photos be shared online?
Only with your permission. A photo release is included in your contract so you can decide.

PREP & EXPERIENCE
Q: What do we wear?
A wardrobe consultation is included. I’ll share a style guide and inspiration board and can give feedback if you send me photos of outfit options.
ORDERING & PRODUCTS
Q: Do I have to order products through you?
No, but I highly recommend it. I’ve curated professional labs with heirloom-quality prints and albums that you cannot get through consumer labs.
Q: How long do I have to order?
Your online gallery stays open for 30 days. After that, you can reopen it for $25 per additional 30-day window.
Q: Do you retouch photos?
Minor retouching is included. More detailed edits are available for an additional fee.
Q: What if I have an issue ordering?
My chosen print vendor has excellent support and can guide you through any ordering questions.
DELIVERY & COPYRIGHT
Q: How does shipping work?
Your order is processed by my pro lab and shipped directly to your home.
Q: Do I get a print release?
Yes. With any digital images purchased, you will receive a release for personal printing. Copyright always remains with me as the creator. Images may not be sold or used for profit without written consent.
Q: What is copyright?
As the photographer, I retain the overarching rights to the images I create. A print release is included with digital purchases so you can print them for personal use. You cannot sell or publish the images for profit without written consent. Buyouts are available for an additional fee.
